The aim of Coriandoli, the new series published
by Reggio Children, is to disseminate and promote
|
the “micro-publishing" of the municipal infant-toddler
centres and preschools
of Reggio Emilia,
a multitude of books, booklets,
and other publications originally prepared
for the families and designed and produced directly |
by teachers, atelieristas, and pedagogistas.
The children and their voices, thoughts, and theories are always the protagonists. The two books that inaugurate the series both originated from the project “Città inattesa” (City inwaiting). They describe the encounter between children from infant-toddler centres and the Park in the centre of town, an exploration that generated discoveries, deep listening, thinking and re-thinking. |
