The Faculty of Education Sciences in collaboration with Reggio
Children and Infant-toddler Centres and Preschools –
Istituzione of the Comune of Reggio Emilia, is activating
a Level I International University
Master entitled “Pedagogical Co-ordinator in educational
services for early childhood” for the academic
year 2007/2008.
This first edition of the post-graduate initiative has been
made possible thanks to the contribution of the Manodori Foundation.

The Master proposes the formation of pedagogical
co-ordinators in educational services for 0-6 year olds, preschools
and new categories of service.
The Master will make ample reference to the pedagogical
experience and culture of educational services in the Comune
of Reggio Emilia.
enrolment requirements
The course is open to European community and noncommunity
citizens with degrees in one of the following
categories: Educational Sciences (class 18), Philosophy (class
29), Psychology sciences (class 34), Sociology Sciences (class
36).
Access to the course will be by public
selection for a maximum of 35 participants.

enrolment fee
The enrolment fee is Euro 2,000.
duration
The Master course is a one-year
course. Lessons will be held
from 17/09/2007 to 13/06/2008 in Reggio Emilia for a total
of 1,500 hours divided between theory lessons, individual
study, practical experience and project work.
Teaching will be in the Reggio Emilia Faculty of Educational
Sciences and the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre. Practical
experience will be in Infant-toddler Centres and Preschools
in the city of Reggio Emilia.
Teaching will be by university lecturers and researchers,
Reggio Children experts and pedagogistas (pedagogical co-ordinators)
and teachers in Reggio Emilia Comunal Infant-toddler Centres
and Preschools.
